      On September 15, Starry’s 23rd Anniversary and Sum-up Meeting was held in Jiangxi Starry Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The meeting, both held on site and on line, was attended by directors from four major sites and other persons at higher levels to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Starry.

      In September, an autumn season filled with the sweet scent of osmanthus, Starry’s chairman Hu Jinsheng and the vice chairman Hu Jian made their presence at the meeting site. The meeting was presided over by Fang Qinhu, the general manager of the Jiangxi Company, in a pleasing and jubilant atmosphere.

     After going through 16 selected courses in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Shanghai, and Haishen sites, participants made comments on the courses from six aspects, i.e. training theme, lecturer, training effect, assistance to work, mental inspiration, and satisfaction. The courses were ranked by their total scores. In the final round, Wang Jiling from the Zhejiang Company was rated as the best lecturer and won three KNX training opportunities.

     After the nearly-three-hour workshop brainstorming attended by 5 teams consisting of more than 30 members, team leaders made presentations on site. The instructor gave marks to their works from four aspects: the structure of the problem, the way of thinking, the creativity and implementation of the solution, and the rationality of the expression. Finally, the fourth team, consisting of Chen Lunqing, He Hongping, Fu Xi, Zeng Deyun, and Xu Yi, overtook all their competitors and won the first prize of groups.

     The chairman Hu Jinsheng presented the awards for winning individuals and teams.

      According to Fang Qinhu, the general manager of Jiangxi Starry Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., this year is the 23rd birthday of the company after coming under so much difficulties in the past. Now the company is promising and blooming. This year, the company will refine its budget into a three-year plan to make its talent policies and incentives clearer, its management more detailed and reasonable, and its project management more efficient. The general plan is far-visioning, better prioritized, and clearly directed.

     During the meeting, Fang Qinhu said Jiangxi Company united all the employees to proceed and work hard under the leadership and guidance of the group. Remarkable achievements have been made in operation performance, environmental protection assurance, productivity expansion for new products, large-scale production of customized products, corporate culture construction, management optimization, and technological development and innovation. However, since the team is too young, there is still a long way to catch up with the increasingly faster step of the company in terms of the idea of decision-making and the vision. The team still needs improvement and learning.

     The vice chairman Hu Jian said that the 23rd anniversary ceremony was a mini carnival housing sport events, workshops, selected course sharing, and other contents, thus reflecting the diversified culture of the company. The ceremony was held in Jiangxi because the Jiangxi Company achieved the best performance in the past year. It is a way the company will insist on, so all the subsidiaries are expected to strive for the better.

     Hu Jian made an explanation to the theme “one space, one dream”. “One space” means sharing. The Workshop currently running is a brainstorming that brings more people to the management team, so are the weekly meetings and monthly meetings. The purpose is to bring more people to the management of the company to push forward the work improvement of other departments. “One space” also means the spirit of being on site. The “one space” office launched this year encourages managers to walk out of their office rooms and visit the sites. Sites are the key. All leaders must ask themselves: where is my site of work? The “one space” initiative creates a level playing field. In the next step, the company will promote the standardized production assessment for four sites, starting from Jiangxi. Like the management, workshop workers will enjoy fair assessment and evolution as well as fair career path and promotion path. Next, the group will transform to become more information-based. Being information-based allows us to solve problems across different regions. It is a way that supports our different regions and our message delivery and communication across the globe. Our partners in different regions are also using the OEC system, forming the exclusive big data of Starry.
  
     
Hu Jian emphasized that the company would keep upgrading the business sectors on the information-based system as there was still a far cry from being a standardized and refined factory. As one of the three cores in the reform that are being “collective, refined, and information-based”, the information-based reform entails our persistent and unstoppable impetus. Like the telecommuting during the epidemic, we believe the continuous investment into informatization will always be our solid support that leads us into a new managerial level.

       Hu Jian said it was the first-generation Starry employees, who were dream-driven and raised the horizon of the company under the leadership of the chairman, that enabled the Starry we see today. The place we are standing on is built with their physical and mental contributions. The young generation of Starry employees must shoulder the responsibility and devote their energy and passion in “one room” to realizing Starry’s dream of being a century-old company by following the spirit of “chasing the sun to make dreams come true”.

       During the meeting, the chairman extended his sincere gratitude for the pains and efforts paid by all Starry employees. He said, for the past 23 years, Starry has grown into what we see today from scratch and achieved accomplishments one after another, all depend on the efforts and fights of all employees. This year, the sudden strike of the epidemic is constantly hardening the operating environment. However, all the employees have been defying all odds and finally saved the company from the tight spot caused by the epidemic. This is what we achieved by joining our hands together.

     The chairman pointed out another topic, which was the operation philosophy. We used to emphasize that “environmental protection is the bottom line, safety is the red line, quality is the life line, and green is the development line”. Now we must realize that safety and environmental protection are the high-voltage power line that can never be touched. The compliance must penetrate through all modules of the company. About the working philosophy, we must refine our work. Talents are the key to improve our management on the course of development. Therefore we have to recruit more talents and leave professional work to professionals. Leaders develop policies and directions while professionals implement them. Everything related to work has to be in detail and down to earth. About compliance, we have to earnestly learn and practice the laws and regulations related to safety and environmental protection. From workshop layout to infrastructure, everything must follow the laws and regulations. The research and development department must intensify the research and innovation in technologies, minimize the discharge of three wastes (waste gas, waste water, waste residues), and help building a clean and green factory. Our goal is to continuously expand our advantages on the industrial chain, improve our quality, cost and technology, and become strong enough to compete with the original developer unit. As thus, we will one day realize our ultimate goal: produce the best product and become the best company in the world!

    Standing on a new start line 23 years after the inception of the company, the chairman delivered some messages to all Starriers: The mission of Starry is to “aggregate life energy and care for human health”. We have to inclusive enough to attract and embrace while chasing our predecessors on the path to our dreams. Staying true and straying dream-drive, we will always fight for the dream of making people healthy, rich, and happy, and the dream of becoming a century-old company! Starry will chest up in its march into the new era.

      Starry Pharmaceutical Prominently Wins Two First Prizes in A Row | “Excellence & Strength” Municipal Manufacturing Development Contest Reveals the Results of May and June


     The “Excellence & Strength” contest for the healthy development of the manufacturing industry, also the biggest one of its kind in Taizhou, revealed the results of the competitions of May and June recently. Our company stood out from more than 4200 competing enterprise across the city and won the first prizes of class I enterprise in both May and June.


      Taizhou is the birthplace of China’s private economy. The equipment manufacturing is the origin, the root and the soul for the development of Taizhou’s private economy, and also the foundation for its healthy development. According to the 7th enlarged meeting of the 14th Provincial Party Committee that was just convened, it is clearly indicated that an advanced manufacturing base will be built in Zhejiang. Taizhou also proposed to become a capital of manufacturing with international influence. The “Excellence & Strength” contest is designed to help building Taizhou into the “capital of manufacturing” by creating a climate of learning and competition among Taizhou enterprises to produce innovative outcomes for the healthy development of Taizhou.
 
     
Report has it that this contest boasts the unprecedentedly large scale, both in the size and the number of participating enterprises. A total of 4235 qualified enterprises attended the contest, which were classified into 5 categories by their output in 2019. Class I enterprises, which are 46 in total throughout the city, are those manufacturing enterprises with an annual output of more than 1 billion Yuan. With an output exceeding 1 billion Yuan in 2019, we were listed among enterprises of Category . On the strength of our powerful strength and unique product advantages, we secured the first prizes in May and June among all the formidable competitors, which greatly enhanced our confidence and passion in innovation.
