Product quality is the lifeline of an enterprise. In September 2019, Poseidon Pharmaceuticals held the first Quality Month event with the theme of “Strengthening Quality Consciousness and Improving the Quality of All Staff”.
 
After the initial publicity and preparation, the launch meeting of the "Poseidon's First Quality Month" event was held on August 30. Company general manager Zhou Hu gave important instructions at the meeting. Quality is the prerequisite for market development and a code of conduct for building corporate brands and enhancing competitiveness. Product quality is a comprehensive reflection of the overall work quality of an enterprise's business activities in various departments and links. The quality of work of any department, any operation link, or even any person in an enterprise will directly or indirectly affect product quality to varying degrees. Therefore, the participation of all employees in quality management is a key factor influencing enterprises to improve product quality and participate in market competition, and is an important prerequisite for the survival, development and growth of enterprises.
 
The theme of the company's "Quality Month" requires in-depth quality publicity activities to establish a quality awareness of "full participation". To this end, the Quality Assurance Department communicates quality concepts to every employee by displaying posters, special training, knowledge contests, and skill contests.
 
On September 3rd, Xie Yongjian, the quality director, conducted a training session on the theme of "API (API) Production GMP Management Requirements" for middle and senior management personnel.
 
From September 5th to 7th, Yang Beilei, an employee of the Quality Assurance Department, trained the entire factory staff in three batches of "Records of Standardization and Typical Cases of Complaints and Returns in the Past Three Years (Non-Technical)". The actual case of the trainees made the trainees understand GMP more intuitively, and made employees deeply feel the importance of their positions.
 
In order to urge all staff to learn quality knowledge and promote training through examinations, a GMP knowledge contest was held in the company cafeteria on the afternoon of September 19. After a fierce competition, Xu Jianfei of the production department won the first prize; Feng Rui and Yang Jian of the production department won the second prize; Feng Xinghai of the production department, Huang Mingming of the technology department and Lin Zhanqing of the quality inspection center won the third prize.
 
On September 19, the company organized a contest of inspection skills in the quality inspection center. All the personnel of the Quality Inspection Center participated in the competition. The final cost supervisor Zhang Wenxing won the first place in this skill competition, the general supervisor Wang Yan won the second place, and the quality inspector Cheng Wencong won the third place. After the competition, the quality inspection center summarized the skill competition. Deputy Manager Chen Jianhua re-demonstrated the standard operation of each detection module after the competition and focused on key operations and precautions.
 
In addition, the Quality Assurance Department also organized a quality essay activity. According to the "GMP Knowledge Reader" issued by the company, combined with the work responsibilities of the department and the post, the essay was submitted with the theme of "My Quality Responsibility and I am a Quality Advocate" . Essays are not limited in form and scope, and employees are encouraged to think about their relationship with GMP from their own perspective. After evaluation, Jiang Fengying of the production department won the first place in the essay competition; Xiang Juan of the logistics department and Liu Guilan of the storage center won the second place; Cheng Wencong of the quality inspection center, Ye Bobai of the production department and Pang Weixiao of the quality assurance department won third place.
 
On September 30th, Director of Quality Xie Yongjian announced the list of winners of the current Quality Month event and distributed prizes to the winners.
 
Quality is the life of an enterprise, and quality awareness is the soul of an enterprise's life. The level of quality reflects the comprehensive strength of an enterprise. Although the "Quality Month" event has ended, there is still a long way to go to improve quality.
